Session Description

“Design Patterns” and “Development Guidelines” are something normal in about every development language, but not in the world of AL.

My first session on DynamicsCon was about “development guidelines” and I announced that I would try to revive the “NAV Design Patterns” Wiki project. This “alguidelines.dev” is that promise coming true: a community initiative to document patterns, and to guide people into best practices regarding development.

I’ll talk about the project, and some of the most important patterns and best practices that you can find there.
