In 2015, Martin Kratky and Dr. Hesam Ziaei established Acterys, envisioning a unified data platform that transcends traditional siloed data warehousing, planning, and reporting methods. Identifying the limitations in existing approaches and recognizing the prevalent reporting challenges in conventional planning solutions, they shifted focus. Instead of developing another isolated planning tool, they aimed to integrate solutions into platforms where data is most frequently utilized, such as Excel and PowerBI.
