Warehouse-Specific Inventory Transactions

Session Description

To help improve the performance of warehouse operations and decouple from the inventory stack, we are introducing warehouse-specific inventory transactions. At this stage, the on-hand data structures (InventSum and WHSInventReserve) remain unchanged.

Plenty of existing business logic relies on the presence of the inventory transaction (InventTrans) records. In many places, that logic is getting refactored to keep the same functionality when warehouse inventory transactions are used.

We will describe the design of the solution and focus on how custom solutions can uptake it.
