Reporting on GP History Migrated to BC using Power BI

Session Description

More GP customers are asking questions (or making wild assumptions) about all of the GP history that gets migrated to BC. In this session we outline the migration process and quickly cover the basics, but then we take a deep dive into each of the Dynamics GP data tables in Business Central and what they make available to us for reporting. We’ll demonstrate how to set up the Web Services in BC and connect to them with Power BI and create a couple of simple dashboards. Additional recommendations and considerations for reporting on legacy history with Power BI will also be offered.
